A Design Mafia sais: The French Louis Vuitton brand has paired with artist Camille Scherrer to produce a video project that literally brings Louis Vuitton to life.The book covers the classic the art handbag collections as well as other aspects of design and architecture. This coffee table book is 400 pages filled with massive amounts of imagery.
With Artistic Director Marc Jacobs shaping the content of the book, he has decided to include essays by art critics like Interview magazine’s Glenn O’Brien, architecture critic Ian Luna, Rebecca Mead of the New Yorker and Valerie Steele, director and chief curator of The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. This book is expected to be sold in Louis Vuitton store around September 2009 for $85.
